December 2019

for the making
for the giving
for the getting
for the noticing

The stocking you saw me starting, is now done.
It has gone off to to the family who graciously shared their
mantle full of stockings here.
I wonder how any more will fit?

Beautiful trees in a parking lot.

Pears, a re-gifted gift...and most of them, gifted to others as well.

One for him, one for me
New reads, I've yet to start mine.
All in good time.

So, my wish for you this time around is 'time'.
Time to be with loved ones
Time to learn and grow
Time for the outdoors and for noticing

Quiet joys Nancy to you now, and in the new year. Here is one of my favorite Celtic Winter Solstice blessings for you and yours:

Deep peace of the running waves to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the shades of night to you.
Moon and stars always giving light to you.

Time and light and Lemon Loaf is what I've got tonight as the Winter Solstice carries us through the darkness of this longest night and on to the path toward Spring. Bllessed Be.

Marti~ May you know these gifts as well. :)

Michelle~ Yes, towards Spring. xo

Liz~ Your family holiday time looked grand! May you hold your sweet pear memories...these were too gritty for our taste, but a neighbor loved them! (((hugs)))

Saskia~ Perhaps a friend from afar, but one so close to my heart!
The Dwellers sure know how to have a good time!

Deb~ Thank you and you as well!
