Go With Love

The trees that greet me in the parking area...a bold welcome as we head out to wherever it is we go.

"Love is Little," a traditional Shaker song performed by Zambra

LINK 2:18 minutes

From the description box:
Purchase our music at https://zambrasingers.bandcamp.com/ “Love is Little” is a traditional Shaker song. The Shakers created many lovely hymns, and this song dates to the 1850s. Cellist and composer (and dear friend) Barry Phillips first wrote this arrangement of Love is Little for the Santa Cruz-based ensemble Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chant Choir, who were kind enough to share it with us many years ago. It has been a staple of our live concerts ever since. We love its gentle reminder of the importance of those small acts of love. The world needs them, now more than ever. Thank you, everyone, for bringing your light, your love, your kind acts of mercy. Love is little, love is low, Love will make my spirit grow, Grow in peace, grow in light. Love will do the thing that’s right. Guitar: John Hopkins Arranged by Barry Phillips Audio mixed by Andy Zenczak Video produced and directed by Kathryn Veditz Cinematography by Andy Zenczak and Teo Morrell Recorded by Zambra in Santa Cruz, California. Another "park"...visited before, but not entirely. Still not entirely explored as it is a large multi-purpose area. The Community Center building is where we've gone to vote in the past. Monday we took in some of the park's nature trails and explored the paths and amenities available. A large gymnasium, 3 pools, a skate park, bike park (track and "pump track"- 6:05 minute explanation and visual - I had no idea!!), basketball courts and a memorial fill out the tiered property. We've enjoyed visiting or revisiting local parks, knowing full well that we will never uses many, okay, most of the amenities discovered. However it is nice to see what is out there for others. As we explore, we discuss if a location is worth returning to in the future. There are some paved paths here that we may go back to some day.

🌴 🌳 🌲

I took two CMB with me today (103 planted)...we went to the over the hill area from where we planted the last one...to where "same rock found twice" lived (lives?). I haven't been here for years. We usually go on the left side of the hill. Anyway, I've been wanting to go back to this old trail for a long time. Today was that day.

We were greeted by a red tail flying towards the sun. 🙂

I hold myself within the sunshine & shadows, the brightness of the earthen hillsides, the sparkle of the golden trees and the feel of the shaded spots, scent of the sages and feel of the earth beneath my feet.

You can see the bit of water down the slope in the photo above. This is where "same rock found twice" lived. The last time I saw it was at the top of the slope, when I placed it on a log and left it behind. That was back in 2015...10 years ago!!! That log is decayed a lot since then. There have been rain storms and other travelers over the years...so, where did that rock go?

Below, you can see one of the CMB on the fence post. The second one is off camera to the left. It was tricky to plant them, as there were people in the parking lot, so hard to be stealthy!!

What things (items) do you recall like you saw them yesterday?

May you find what you are looking for

May you not mourn too much what is left behind

May you visit and revisit beautiful places

Several Miles, Less Than One Hour, 60+ Degrees

~~~~~ ⼮~~~~~
Placerita Canyon Nature Center
 Today the stream...or is it, creek was running. We've only seen this once before, years back.
I wished I could put a recording of the tinkling music here. I stood, hanging over the bridge, and listened.
I found some Time Markers
And some amazing growth
The light stopped me in my tracks again and again.
There were not too many folks there on this Monday, it was quiet. But, I felt a bit watched at the same time!
Smile!
As we sat quietly, these little birds came out, one after another. Maybe Junkos? There were many more than I could capture in one photo. They had such a funny hopping, jumping walk. I felt like we were the young girl in PLAY WITH ME, sitting quietly while the birds explored . That is, until an elder came with her dog...when they all flitted away!
❤️
May you feel the love on Valentine's Day and every day
May you share the love in your heart each day
May you celebrate your love
xo
PS I listened to the love song in this post today. sigh.
Love Is Always The Answer
❤️❤️
A mere blip in time, here together
sharing a love that will last an eternity
we could feel that
A mere hour after Mo's post
came into my inbox,
I ate lunch with this crow
❤️❤️
One has not landed here, like this, on my lunch hour...
but Old Man Crow has been much on my mind...
❤️❤️
May we all circle 'round to hold Mo in our love as she moves through this time.
May we hold onto one another as well.
May Rod rest well, rest oh so very well.
Wellness
Please think of my dear friend today,
as she is undergoing a serious surgery.
She deserves the best.
I lit a candle for her journey into wellness.
Rhythms of Life
                                                                                   FOLI (there is no movement without rhythm) original version by Thomas Roebers and Floris Leeuwenberg
 Movement with Rhythm
Rhythm with Feelings
Movement ~ Rhythm ~ Feelings
Life
I thought I'd shared this here, maybe yes or no.
Maybe it was on FB or sent to my Brother-in-law, who was a drummer.
Well, no matter it is here now.
Isn't it wonderful?
My own life has had its rhythms based on movements and feelings.
Ins, outs
Up, downs
Pains, contentment's
all of it.
Woosh, woosh
Jingle, jingle, jingle
giggle
Mooo, Mooo
Cough, wheeze, cough
Scritch, scratch, pick, prick
GASP
Sigh
    Sigh
          Sigh
SIGH
 Breathe
In your every breath...
every beat of your heart...
May you know love, feel love,
see beauty,
touch kindness,
hear laughter,
smell nature
and taste the wonder that is life!
Woosh, woosh
Jingle, jingle, jingle
giggle
Mooo, Mooo
Cough, wheeze, cough
Scritch, scratch, pick, prick
 GASP
Sigh
    Sigh
          Sigh
 SIGH
 Breathe
May your days be filled with the rhythms of
friendship, joy and
Love.
