While Weaving (UPDATE @ The End)

Last night's moon...

After sharing this link with Grace, I watched & listened to a few others. I have a lot of thoughts about these sounds. We had some discussions about how they are done and what the sounds actually mean. It was good conversations and also interesting to listen to while weaving. Some were harder for me to listen to, as the higher tones really tweak my ears. Which ones do you like?

Last week's flu shot took me out for most of the past week...that and the heat of course. I'm heading towards better at the moment.

Here are the most recent 5 Medicine Bags in the Oaks colors. As a good friend of my daughter's used to say "They're the same, but different". This gal has been on my mind a lot recently, so her old phrase of course popped into my head. We used to laugh and tease about that one...but here it makes so much sense!

Each bag is now stitched closed and awaiting its strap. Those are all ready to go and made to match the band of color at the top/opening edge. When done, I'll post the completed Medicine Bags, as usual.

Also happening, J. has been painting a new guitar build. This discarded box made a great place to spray it (as well as a place to lay out weavings to be photographed!). He's considering his next choices. So am I.

Today has been very warm again and breezy. This is not my favorite combination. However, we are, so far, in a strange pocket, surrounded by Red Flag Warnings, but not actually within them. Even so, the winds are hot and dry. The cotton ball clouds add an element of humidity.

I don't even look to see when the heat wave ends. I just move through each day. At least it was not pegged over 100 degrees today!

I signed up for the new, free Making Zen online experience. I do these things in a very loosey-goosey kind of way. You may want to do it in your own way too. It's free...only 'costing' you your time.

UPDATE:

Tonight's Moon. If I were to be creating another "Dreamin' In Color" video, I'd be using these moon photos and maybe the One Moon Corn Kernel too! These are what I got in the city lights and a small camera. But enough to dream with.

What have you been making?

May you enjoy your days

May you enjoy your memories

May you enjoy what is to come
