I was inspired by Jude and another Ragmate (Mary S.) to weave on one of the Power Sticks. I have two "Y" sticks, so I carefully warped one of them. I began with the fine, soft green yarn (a favorite). It was too thin...so I switched to the thicker green yarn.
I don't feel satisfied with how it turned out. I'm not wild about how much the warp thread shows, once woven. As a solution, I threw a length of this thread into the dye pot. Maybe if the thread was a quieter look?
I'm not sure about the look of just one color either. And lastly, I am considering how to use the woven stick as a power stick, as I had originally intended to use it. More play will be involved.
I also have some other weaving plans...yay.
