Another day, 8th one I think, with more heat...104 on the porch. This song always pops into my head, which makes a heat wave much more fun. The lyrics are pretty goofy, but do sing along~won't you?!!

Oh don't you love Linda? Saw her a few years ago and she didn't sing hardly any of the old songs, so sad. Thanks for this, Nancy, and I hope things cool down -- I thought la nina was moving in to replace el nino?
I sympathize. Our summer last year was like that, and it was miserable. This year has been a little better here.

Peggy~ Yep, I love the 1970's Linda too. She has an amazing voice anytime, but that is when I listened the most. My Daddy loved her then too and had a big poster of her in his office, in a downtown clothing factory. He had signed it as if SHE had autographed it for him!!! That memory always makes me smile.
