Inspired by Maria's recent comments on an old post of mine here on the Trail, which reminded me of some of the videos I've posted in the past. Videos that touched me in one way or another.
So, I went looking for a new 'soft' video, one which would help me (and possibly others who visit here) recenter, relax and wait. It is hard for me right now to have an open heart to all in the general public, but perhaps I could continue to focus on friends and then have one for myself as well.
This is what I found, a reminder of Blessings.
Here is the post that came to be.

Tomorrow the big grandson turns 18!
Here he is when he was 4, hanging out with little grandson on our 2021 calendar.
May we hang on to help this world heal,
for the little ones and the not so little ones too.

Joy, light and love and blessings for your oldest grandson. May he have a happy, healthy and hopeful birthday and new year and may you, J and all in your family have the same. Blessings come sometim4es when least expected, not with a flash or fireworks but often with the simple daily joy of recognition, of kindness. of shairng, of caring and this is exactly what I felt when I saw your wonderful calendar with your grands.
Thank you for that, Nancy. What a beautiful meditation. I feel lighter. Imagining how much joy will pour out when we are able to hold those we love in long squeezing hugs. Wishing you, all of us, free safe places, with time and space to be with each other and nature in ways that are whole.
Marti~ Thank you! Simple joys, so easy to share :) Be well.
Hazel~ Oh lighter is so good! Yes, indeed...someday...sigh.
