Looks like you had a really nice day away from it all, Nancy...sacred feathers, some blue jay ones there? And a beautiful sunset...a really nice day.

Peggy- Yes a nice afternoon for sure. The feathers found on my late dusk walk were: scrub jay (We see them, but hardly ever find their feathers. I thought 2 was a lucky find!), crow & dove (always find these!), wild turkey and the black & white one-a possible woodpecker as I see those a lot too. 11 in all!
Deanna- Isn't that sunset breathtaking?! Photo is true to color too...electrifying!!!
And if you click on the feather photo to enlarge can see the detail of the scrub jay feathers...that little hint of black in there. I was picturing Jude splitting threads to make detail so fine...and Fine! :)

hello there, catching up on all of your posts...beginning with this day of beauty! and the wonderful completion of the pocket pal cloth. and you've really got me thinking about where i'm from, there are all the bits of stories flitting about-that get told here and there, but to pull them all together in one piece seems like a really good thing-thanks.

Cindy- I've gotten used to you being one of the first in the conversation! I'm so glad you enjoyed the recent posts & that you're thinking of pulling together your stories. In the past I have written many a story to my kids - called them legacy letters - about particular stories of their, my, our past. I haven't written one for ages!
